Aquarius is the 11^th sign of the zodiac. Natives of this sign are the inventors of the zodiac, thanks to their very developed intellectual faculties. They project themselves in the future and their vision is, most of the time, years ahead compared to other humans. This is why we find many science fiction writers sharing this sign (Jules Vernes for instance). They are also very good in politics (Ronald Reagan, who was also a movie actor, motion pictures are ruled by the sign of Aquarius).

On the personal side, these natives are very independent and have a hard time with commitment in long term relationships because they dislike constraints. They prefer free love rather than marriage and the person they choose must be a friend before anything else.

They are very friendly and attract sympathy very easily and therefore they have many friends, but they always keep a certain distance. They are rather cold and aloof emotionally, being much more involved in their work than with personal relationships. They excel in the technology and scientific areas. They can also devote their life to an altruistic endeavor on a planetary scale. (International organization such as the United Nations is typically Aquarian in nature).

On the negative side, Aquarians can be arrogant, cold, aloof, lacking compassion, and eccentric. They can be unpredictable, rebellious and very stubborn. But let’s not forget that the Sun sign is not enough to determine a whole personality. Other signs and planets present in a chart change its interpretation. This is why we cannot judge the character of a person based solely on his/her Sun sign.
